Welcome to the Official website of Scottish motorcycle racer, Jason 'Jazz' Douglas.

Jason will be competing in the 125cc Scottish Formula Championship, with a few rounds in the MRO Superteens competition and will be applying to the Red Bull Rookies selection event.

2006 was a very good year for Jason Douglas as he finished 1st place in the Scottish Minimoto championships, the UK Minimoto championships and the British Metrakit 50cc championship.

2007 saw Jason finish 2nd in the British Metrakit 70cc series.

It also saw him travel to Valencia to take part in the Valencia at World Festival 125cc Metrakit event , in which he finished 2nd place.

For 2008 Jason spent much of the time racing his Metrakit 80cc against tuned 125cc bikes. Despite this he still managed to finish 3rd in EMRA, 5th place in KDMC and was the top Metrakit rider in all championships he raced in.

This has meant he has progressed to a national license and can now race a GP 125 bike.

« Why own a website?

Writing your own content

Writing your own content on this site couldn’t be easier. Instead of having to email somebody to ask them to upload the latest race result, or a news article you simply log in to your site, click the “Write” tab and then fill in the information. The “Write” page has a Word-like interface so you simply type your content in, add links or images and hit the publish button.

This image (click it for a larger view) shows the site dashboard, this is the page you arrive at after logging in.

By clicking the Write tab you are able to publish new content to the site. The “Manage” tab will take you to posts and pages you have already created so that you can edit them.

This next image shows you the “Write” page, where you will input the information you want to publish to the site.

As you can see it is pretty self-explanatory, you would fill in the title of your post, then type everything into the text editor much like Microsoft Word. If you were to take a site it would come with instructions on using the admin area, uploading photos, using the gallery etc.
